No matter where you move around within Destination Zealand you will see farm shops, roadside stalls and pick your own farms, where you can supply yourself with freshly dug tasty potatoes, large fresh farm eggs, juicy fruit and crispy vegetables.
In the many small cosy farm shops you can buy anything from freshly ground flour and organic meat, fresh fruit and vegetables to homemade juice and mustard, just as you can visit the market days at Nytorv in Slagelse, and other exciting events that you will find under Events.
Naturgræsmælk (freshly tapped milk from free-range cows) and prize-winning wines.
Several places you can get really close to the production, for instance when the milk from the special free-range cows at Tude Ådal is turned into heavenly cheeses and ice cream, or when the local guides give you a tour on the food trails.
At Røsnæs among others, you can take a walk among the vines, that later on will generate prize-winning Danish wines.
