In kayak and canoe

With the paddle or the oar in your hands you can paddle from experience to experience when visiting Destination Zealand. Whether you jump into the kayak or board the canoe you will get very close to nature all the while stress and thoughts leave your body being replaced by peace and quiet.

Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the kayak, discover the beautiful landscape while the canoe slowly slides through the still water of the creek running along forests and fields, or paddle along the shoreline and watch Destination Sjælland from a different perspective.

When your arms need a break you can disembark and enjoy some of the many unique local products that you cook over the bonfire yourselves. Or you can visit some of the many eateries in the area, where they will great you with open arms and local delicacies.

When you have to recharge the batteries you can sleep in shelters, on campsites or you can choose to sleep on the beach.

As a sea kayaker you are allowed to disembark and make a short term stay on the beach, i.e. max. 24 hours. This means that you can overnight there. However, you are not allowed to sleep in a tent, but you can sleep in a kayak bivouac for instance. And if the conditions permit it, you are even allowed to make a small bonfire.
